I went to executive tint for my Integra. http://www.xmhouston.com/

They show you what kinds of tints they have. They have super cheap ones to the super good ones. They guarantee their work and film for life for as long as you own it. So if it ever bubbles, cracks, or de-laminate, they'll fix it for you. They'll hook you up too if you do a review for them lol!

Can you give me an idea of what pricing I should expect for a decent one? And when you say super cheap to super good, is the super cheap bad / should I go for one of the higher end oens?

The cheap ones just shade you from the sun. Can't exactly remember the material levels but the one I got from them was 3rd or 2nd to the best one they had. They took off my old tint, had darker tint in my back and legal tint in the front, and installed new ones for bout 300. They have those really cheap ones for 75 installed for all your windows, but when you get there, the salesman will take you through and do a demonstration of what the tints actually do. Its really cool cause they have different pieces of glass with all the different tints they have . They put the glass in a box that has a bulb inside, which is there to mimic the sun, and you could feel the difference in heat rejection when you put your hand in the box with different types of tints. It was pretty cool xD

To summarize, all tints will shade you and your interior from the sun, but each tint material has its different heat rejection percentage. Not sure what the price is on a decent tint job, but just let the salesman explain to you what he has and then bargain I had a guy name Kovid helping me out that time. He was nice and honest and also told me what bad things could happen or good things. Such as the old tint on my Integra could end up peeling off the defrost on my rear windshield. Good luck!

Awesome, thanks for the info. When you say bargain.. the tint selection has set prices right. It's not negotiable?

January 2013 Houston86.com Meet

It has been raining/overcast here in Houston all January. Think Aberdeen weather. Regardless, it was good seeing everybody

It's hot and humid and Mosquitos own the night. Aside from that its got a pretty substantial nightlife and is a major cultural center of the state.
