I feel for you on the hail dents, couldnt imagine what that would do to these cars. I parked at my Dads house a couple months ago to watch the Eagles game (which was a waste of time) and came out to 2 dents. 1 on hood was really bad, and 1 on roof was noticeable. Cherry blossom seeds had dropped on it and was really surprised by the damage. If your not familiar, Cherry Blossoms are similar size to a Walnut, but are actually soft and squishy with a harder core. Thankfully the dent guy is legit and did an amazing job on it, cant see a thing! Hope yours works out the same!

Yeah our hoods are pretty weak. Had it in the shop yesterday to get the hood fixed. (i had everything else fixed earlier but i was usuing the money for the hood to buy a CF hood. but i decided to just have it fixed instead) well, the dent guy couldnt get them out so insurance is paying to get me a new hood. ill be getting just shy of $900 to spend so ill be picking up one in CF

I definitely will. I'm still waiting on my check from insurance so I can order it. Should be here by the end of the week.

Got my carbon hood today. I've seen a lot of people posting about how carbon hoods would be heavier than stock so i weighed them. They both weigh 15.5 lbs... (this was not on a digital scale, so the ".5" could be SLIGHTLY off... but anyway.... I can deal with that. I have a nicer looking hood than OEM, with vents that will allow heat to escape, and I didnt gain any weight. Thank you hail.
