I'd have bought that over the coupe version. If it was real, I'd be crying right now.

Might appeal to me but would have to see it in the flesh. not that we would get it in Australia if they decided to build something like this

Would love this. Very fun & fairly practical (if hatchback), a rare combination imo. Not everyone can live with the trunk & backseat of the 86.
I've been looking for a rwd sports car that I can fit a large hockey (goalie) bag in. The 86 will work, but would require a custom long, low-height bag. |

If you want a hot hatch, buy a Focus ST.
ETA: I was just thinking the world needed yet another hot-hatch this very morning. Wait, no, I wasn't. Not everything has to be practical.

I quite like it.
Maybe have SB for the wife and the coupe for yourself. Need to move something bigger just swap cars for the day.

I think we should leave the hot hatches to the Europeans, respectfully...

I really like it. A lot actually. But truth be told, I never put anyone in the back seats and I rarely use the trunk. I'm just a car whore and love them all.

I've never been too fond of hot-hatches due to the FWD factor. Now, this, a 2-door, RWD (which is, I guess, where the "shooting brake" distinction comes in) is right up my alley. Keep as much of the handling of the FR-S as possible with a bit more cargo room? I'd trade mine in in a heartbeat.

Didn't WoW do a nice render of one back in the day?
Would have loved that one. Think it would make more sense that a soft top. Edit: Looks like it showed up again recently here http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...postcount=1624 Last edited by ft86cbx; 01-10-2013 at 10:00 AM. Reason: Found the render |
