Yet another snipet of information comes trickling through and it is still not great as they list power and not torque. Not that I care about torque anywhere other than on a dyno graph (to see how flat it is) and under my right foot (the important part!).

I have plenty of trust that this will be the kit I am looking for, but at a shade under AUD$6k, I will pass it up for now in favour of waiting to see what the factory offers up

I guess it's just a technicality, but trying to make sure people don't get confused when they don't see a giant FMIC on the final product.
Correct, they will get a giant front mount heat liquid/air heat exchanger, in black. Take what you read with a grain of salt regarding the product kit unless it comes form Innovate, an Innovate employee or John Visconti.

Is there any Pro's to having your tune prior to purchasing this kit? As in any less $ than the msrp for a non-intercooled kit?

really? FMIC? This is news. if youre being sarcastic, I missed it.

... I though the innovate kit was the one that got a integrated to the spider Laminova water to air unit? There are pros and cons to the integrated, but if they have now added a FMIC & still are including fuel upgrades, thats a heck of a price. FMICs can get pricey fast and happen to be something I cant see how their TB location will be ducted to given their design.

Exactly. Something has to cool the water that is cooling the air. Heat exchanger aka radiator.

Thanks for your signature!! I'm tired of the paranoia being created by some about the heat.

One thing that I haven't seen mentioned is the fact that this kit doesn't hinder the operation of the factory radiator. I remember reading in one of the other forced induction threads that the overheating issues people are having are more due to the intercooler sitting in front of the radiator (negating some of the cooling effect), rather than cooking the oil. This is the ONLY kit I've seen with an intercooler design that doesn't sit in front of the radiator.

FFT.

that's because the base kit does not include an intercooler. or rather an aftercooler in this application. obviously that is a concern on and of itself. if the buyer ops for an intercooler you will have a heat exchanger in front of the radiator as well so you have the same problem with the radiator not getting enough air flow. what you need is a more efficient rad that is designed to work with low air flow like a copper radiator with efficient fin design

READ. Front mount heat exchanger. You have one with your oil cooler.
