I bought the car to attract high school girls and the only people who want me are middle aged men.

Dude I hope you're not older than 19. 20 at the most. Otherwise, that's f***ing creepy.

Just have to patrol the high schools.

As for me, I don't like the lack of armrest, torque dip, crickets and other odd sounds the car sometime makes when shifting.

I still Love the Car.. I am planning to sleep in it one of these days..

You hit the nail on the head! Wish there was some way to program that in the display by adding a module that would do that. Not that its a big deal, but would have been easy to do and nice to have.

Just buy an ultragauge or other obd2 display device.

Very accurate for fuel consumption. Over 300 liters it was out less than 0.1 liters. I get info like instantaneous fuel economy, average fuel economy over the last 'trip', fuel flow rate, amount of fuel remaining, distance 'till tank empty, coolant temperature, intake air temperature, etc.

Nice! You got a link for that?

I have both a scangauge and an ultragauge. Overall I think i prefer the ultragauge. It will display more on the screen, and you can set 'alarms' that are monitored for high / low even if you're not displaying that particular data. It's cheaper too.

Ultragauge is here: http://www.ultra-gauge.com/ultragauge/index.htm

Cost, appx $61.

The display looks like this:

DTE is distance to empty. Fuel levl is of course your fuel level remaining.

Full imperial / metric support.

Does that do US standard? Otherwise I guess I'll have to get used to metric.

As I stated in my post, it supports both imperial and metric readouts. You can also have both on the screen at once. So you could have MPG and L/100km showing at the same time. I don't think scangauge will do this.

As for the average speed, it's a sample pic I linked directly off of ultragauges website. I have no idea where they were driving, or if it's just 'sample' display data.

Yep sorry, I looked at picture and glanced thru what you said and saw metric. Wasn't paying attention... Where did you mount yours? Any pics?

Sorry, don't have any pictures. I've had the ultragauge in a chevy hhr, chevy silverado, and a honda accord. In all cases, I simply velcro'd it to somewhere convenient.

The HHR and Silverado were both work vehicles, so please don't hate on them. The Accord is my dad's, but it's a coupe, and a v6 with a 6 spd manual. Quite nice actually.

I have the scanguage in my 2009 Toyota Matrix XRS. I can get pictures of it. Almost looks stock.
