Samsung Galaxy S2 issue

Hey guys, I did search for this issue but couldn't find anything on here, sorry if I missed it!

I have the stock Toyota SatNav that comes in the Aussie delivered 86 GTS.

Anyway I have a SGS2, running ICS 4.0.4. The headunit connected to the phone straight away, brilliant! Someone rang me, I could answer it and talk, no noise issues or drop outs, fantastic.

HOWEVER, when I try to send my contacts and messages over to the headunit, the SatNav instantly comes up with, "Transfer Failure".

Sometimes my phone asks if I want to send the info over, I hit yes, and still, Transfer Failure.

Does anyone have any ideas?? The car user manual states that if your phone doesn't have PBAP or OPP it wont work, however I checked and the S2 has these features.

If anyone has any tips on how to fix, it would be muchly appreciated

I have tried deleting the phone profile a few times and re adding, but still no dice.

Thanks guys.

Ryan,

Try this.

Go to Settings.
Select Applications.
Change view to All.
Scroll down and select LogsProvider.
Press Clear Data.

Then go and connect the phone with the car.

Remove the profile from both devices, then re-pair them. Be careful to keep an eye on the phone and make sure you give it permission to share the contact information.

well last night when I went for a drive, the phone asked me for permission to send my contacts across, i hit yes, and it magically worked. must have been a glitch in the matrix.

still cant get my messages across though... but thats not terribly important!
