I don't plan on doing it a lot! But I wanted to try it...just to see. Next time I'll just stick a hand full of quarters in my pocket and go to the "you-spray-it" wash.

You are right, I would never take it to anything that touches my car. The salt and dirt get trapped in those things and then scratch up your car. You will see it when the sun hits it. They are micro scratches, but you see them. Don't take it to one of those place again. Just go to the car wash and spray the salt off best you can. Then do a through wash when it is warm enough.

Took her on a hell run through some of the twistiest mountain roads around here. Tons of 20mph posted hairpins. Many parts reminded me of the dragon. This was the first thorough flogging she got. The roads were damp but she handled them like a go cart. I am in awe of the grip and balance this car has even on the stock tires. Made my SVX seem like a boat.

What about Flag Ship? If Flag Ship counts as one of those automatic car washes then where else can i wash my car? Hand washing to me seems risky with towels always laying around drying up with soap in it

Yeah...is a take a chance thing. I already mentally ready for a fix it ticket and a re-tint cost. Still want to do it!
