Not all FP turbos are bolt on housings, the red&green were also available in a T3 exhaust housing.

also, they (red/green) are mostly garrett technology, they do not use the same advance flow turbine/compressor wheels of the new hta designs either.

I run an FP Black on my Evo 9 and have for the past 2 years. With my built 2.4 I hit 35 psi by 3900 rpm and it's a freakin blast to drive. But honestly, I would say the new generation of Borg Warner EFR turbos really are above and beyond anything FP has as far as spool up, transient response, and packaging.

Fixed that for you.

I wouldn't touch anything from Garrett made in the last 3 years. Lots of changes to the manufacturing process have made them lower quality.
