I guess I should have been smarter and started a thread like this instead.

Haha... but it is the same SC. Hopefully with this many companies involved with it, it will make it to market.

When it comes to forced induction, Cusco does not come to mind as a company that i would buy from. I don't agree with a lot of the products they sell like the $1800 throttle body that people will only buy becuase its "JDM".

If you want to be technical, Perrin is selling Vortech kits. They do not have their own supercharger.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it was some kind of collaboration. I did notice yesterday when looking in the innovative thread that the front pipe on that SC was stamped Cusco. Maybe they are providing the accessories.

I'm probably wrong, but just a wild guess

Edit: Actually went on the FB page and they claim it as "cusco supercharger", so I guess there goes that idea

Derrr. The JDM unit of course. It will be sprinkled with JDM air that will make it 10lbs lighter than the original.

Yeah, why did Toyota and Subaru do tha......Oh, yeah. We were talking about SC's. Ummm, because that is the nature of the aftermarket. One company does all the r&d, testing, tuning, etc.. Then many companies will benefit from their work. If you look around, you will see a lot of this.

I'm stoked. The more the merrier as far as I'm concerned. It'll be cool to see the JDM embrace these new goodies.

so you are saying that you will go and pay twice the price for the exact same product just because it uses a JDM title (marketing crap).

Don't give me the Subaru/Toyota crap! that's a completely different story.
