A car will debut with the Innovate kit installed at the Tokyo Auto Salon on January 11. That's all I care about.

Instant/snappy throttle response, which you find in N/A and some SC applications. I also like to rev, so 8K or 9K redlines interest me when talking about N/A applications. These are subjective, some people don't like the feeling of high revs and some don't care about throttle response. The shittiest part of any turbo kit is an improperly sized turbo that has terrible transient response and a short power band. I'll sacrifice numbers and dollars to get quick response with more power that delivers power like stock. If that's a small turbo kit, some type of SC, or all-motor N/A remains to be seen.

I'm the exact opposite. high revving means low torque so I'll be more than happy to red line at 6k if I'm getting the useful torque this car doesn't have.
High revving might be great for tracks but not the real world.

I'm not buying that car until I see a FI kit that fixes the torque issues.
I have my fingers crossed for this kit.

I love me a big V8 with some great low end torque, but that 5.5-6.5K redline kills the experience for me. I love high revving, and I do it EVERY day, multiple times per day. Everybody has their preference.

Im pretty sure this may be already somewhere in this thread. I think he said 320hp intercooled. Am I getting my hopes up on a 250whp non-intercooled kit?

The Aussies (like the Brits) talk in crank or flywheel, not wheel horsepower.

Yes, you are. The intercooler makes a big difference.

Also subtract FR drivetrain losses from that 320hp and you get 260whp (torque would calculate out to be around mid-190 range - assuming peak power is made around 7000 rpm).

I don't think that's a good way to estimate torque. AVO's kit makes 230whp with 197 wtq.
not with FI applications.

January is going to be a fun month.

Lots of Forced induction, lots of Dyno sheet overlays.

This kit is going to be badass.
