I didn't know that. I also now just read that the sheet-metal on the roof is 0.65mm thick - mind the hail guys! At least the bonnet won't rust in later years as it is on my Mini...

Will have to either source a replacement or have it patched and welded - again!

Just the bonnet as far as I know unless we're talking engine parts as well.

That is the reason for the two creases down the roof line. They are not there for aerodynamics or anything, they just give rigidity to the roof. And they look great

The roof is one of my favourite design elements of this car and I think I can forgive the lack of panoramic sunroof. This is by far the most rigid car I have ever driven. Also the most aerodynamic with a 0.27 drag coefficient...

So i've been in cape town (blouberg strand, kite beach) for almost two weeks and i have not seen an 86 yet, loving it!

They must all be on the KZN South Coast, I'm in Pennington and spotted 5 x 86 and new silver wrapped up at South Coast Toyota.
