Haha well.. First batch of cars were suppose to be listed but then they changed it to first come first serve.. I had to camp out the night before the launch on june 1st.. But well worth it work i was the first one to buy/drive it on the island. Good luck with your pick up.. All i can say is that when they call you drop everything if possible and go get your car and i hope to meet you at the next 86meet once you get one. Lol

Damn that is worth it. I would camp too if I knew the exact day that the cars would come in lol. I heard from someone who works there that 7 of the cars would be auto and one manual. If its true, I hope that the one manual will be whiteout.. cant wait to pick it up and looking forward to meeting everyone lol

Whos your contact at scion? You should have shelly be your dealer and let her know that bryson sent you she is always on top of it. She will probably be the first dealer to make the call to let you know its in. And you dont know what colors are coming in?? Everytime i stop in to see shelly she always tells me whats coming in (the color/drivetrain) i hope this helps you a bit

My buying experience was great. They told me they usually get the shipment at the end of each month and they clear the docks and are ready to sell at the begining of the month. They know what cars will be coming in next shipment, they showed me what was coming. When I first went in it was almost end of month. Decided to put my name down on a manual Whiteout and about a week later they called me. By the time I got there about three hours later they were all sold. I went back a week later and they had a Raven out in the lot and after I saw it, i changed my mind and bought one. Whiteout sells fast, the other colors are slower.

I'm in contact with Kalani. I actually called him today and he said to expect a call by the end of this week for sure. He told me two of each color is coming in, manual and auto so I'm glad the other stuff I've heard isn't true.

Are you glad you went through with the raven? I'm kind of at a standstill between whiteout and raven lol

So I was wondering about this too, mainly because I noticed lots of people on other parts of this forum talking about paying for their FRS before and just coming in to pick it up.

I initially wanted a Raven but thanks to work, wasn't able to show up until 2-3 hours after they called so both of the manuals in Raven were gone. Decided to look at some of the other colors in person and while I like the Raven, decided to go for the Ultramarine which should be mine in a few days. Plus I don't have to try and keep it so damn clean all the time to keep it from looking like I went off-roading in it. But the Raven does look nice, I keep seeing one near my house in Ewa and saw one of the guys from here had his at the dealership today.

On an entirely unrelated note, anyone replaced their speakers yet? I was browsing through a few people's builds but now I'm thinking I don't really want to do it myself. Stuff like the rear side panel speakers just floating in mid air on their brackets with no backing and not wanting to build a box for a sub in the already tight trunk... Also any advice on decent places to upgrade the whole audio system?

Hopefully I can pick someone's brain at one of the future meetups.

Also, that was me at the dealership....was dropping off something for Sal, and yes...the Raven is a pain to keep clean...washed it twice since thursday lol.

I like the Raven, it's nice when it's clean, but yeah shows everything. I just accidentally scratched it while washing it, hose brushed against door. One of the scratches is mean, didn't come out with hand applied polishing compound, and you can really see it.
But it comes down to personal preference. You should have seen me standing in the lot looking back and forth between the whiteout & raven.
