Front has pushpins. I swapped mine when i removed the bumper for other mods; otherwise, just use some force and snap it off.

Just did the letter badging on by GBS BRZ, hardly needed to scrap the adhesive. Was about 55 deg outside. I used a soft plastic spreader to pop the letters off.
Thanks for the guide. |

How come no one put a Subaru badge over Scion? Just wondering or does it make sense? If someone think of a Lexus badge??

Holy moly I removed the frs badge and what a pain in the butt was it to get off the adhesive crap. I easily removed the plastic badge itself with some waxed dental floss but that adhesive was horrific. I used turtle wax bug and tar remover with some coaxing I got it all off after an hour. Blehh. I've never had an issue when debadging my 02 celica, 06 tc or 08 Altima coupe

Just debadged my Scion Fr-s today. I only removed the FRS symbol though. Items that i used: hair dryer, tooth floss (I recommend fishing wire tho), Automotive Goo Gone, and car wax. Here's the debadging process that I followed:
1. Clean the back of the car really well and let it dry. 2. Open the trunk half way and blow hot air on the frs sign with a blow dryer. I had it on high and I held it about 8 inches away from the emblem. I had the trunk open just to avoid unnecessary heat going on plastic bumper. 3. While applying the heat control the temperature of the trunk. If it is getting too hot to touch it, then you are overheating it. It only needs a bit of heat actually. Also grab the FRS logo with your fingers and see if you can move it slightly. If it allows you a bit of play, then you are good to go. 4. Close the trunk and begin removal. I used tooth floss, but I believe that fishing wire would be much better. I just didn't feel like buying fishing wire. I started from the right side and went towards left. Don't rush, take it slow and just cut through the glue. 5. After the entire logo was removed, I heated the remaining glue on the car just a bit and pealed it off with my fingers. 6. Then used a clean cloth and Automotive Goo Gone to clear the surface completely. 7. Then waxed the entire area and car looks like the symbol was never there. |

For those asking about the fender badges pins lining up in place of the scion badge, they do not. The fender badge will fit nicely covering the two holes on the trunk (as pictured already) and on the front, in order to cover both holes you would have to place the emblem below centered, but not too far off.

Like the 86 badge on the rear. Considering it for my BRZ, but not sure it'll cover the pins...
Front Subaru badge would be a nightmare, since its indented. |
