Having Fun in The Snow with FR-S

Anyone else enjoying the car in the snow? Although the roads are really bad I couldn't resist the urge of being able to drift slowly in the snow and I took the car out looking for an empty parking lot.

I took a video, it's not the best quality (taken with iPhone 4) but it's not horrible either I'm just learning how to control the car and I figured that doing so in the snow first is the safest bet.

Yeah, it was a blast :-) I actually went to another parking lot before that but some guy came over and was like: this isn't a race track.. haha so I just kindly apologized and found another parking lot lol

Car actually has performance winter tires installed. Pirelli Sottozero Series II 225/40/18. They aren't necessarily snow tires, but they did OK. Driving and stopping was very good. Starting was difficult at times.

Watch out for snow covered curbs or cement parking spot blocks

Looks like fun! I was tempted to get mine out of the garage and play in the cul de sac at the end of my street.

Embedded it for ya!

You, Bluecille and I will have to get together for a run in the spring when I get mine out of hibernation.

I should see if I can talk the owner of Freedom to have an "86 meet" at the dealership. Move all the cars on the lot and let us drift around and do donuts all over the lot! I'm sure there would be all kinds of waivers and insurance issues though...lol
