MSRP for a Whiteout AT without BeSpoke. They had a Silver Manual on the lot. Dealer traded it and we were rolling quickly. Pretty painless experience down here in Alabama.

it's true.. white is 200 extra and the "scion Sticker" also known as rear applique is less than a hundred.. it's ok, u live u learn.. don't rush in buying a car next time before you do your research. all of your options, you could go to scion site and build your own scion and see how much it would cost so u know if your dealer is screwing you or not. don't sign until you know OTD price cuz of "hidden fees". since you're in CA, you can add about 10% which is roughly estimate of Tax, tittle and fees. i got mine 27.4k otd but mine is manual so its about a thousand less than AT... for now just enjoy the car haha

I think alot of places have it way easier than Cali. There is a high demand for them here so they charge higher prices.

One dealer told me they had one with no mark ups. I went to the dealer and bam it had 3K in markups. It was 30K before anything....I walked away from that deal. Needless to say that dealer still has 4-5 FRS' that they will never sell lol

And if your car came with road head, I don't judge. I think alot of people would want to know where you got your car if it did.

thats only the case for BR-Z, for FR-S they're not supposed to have mark up! unless dealers install craps on it, then they can charge with whatever they want...i was told from other dealers that you can report them if the dealers are charging higher than msrp... it was hard for me to find one because of the color and i want close to no options added

They only charge higher prices when people pay them.

I purchased mine here in Baltimore for right on the MSRP even though they were trying to charge $5k markup. There was no way in hell I was going to pay that much. It only took about an hour to get them to realize what I was going to pay.

It does seem like there are more people in cali that are willing to pay more and that makes it difficult for the normal for the normal people out there.

Well I considered those as mark ups even though the scion dealers try to justify it as "add-ons", but a valid point none the less lol. I too wanted a basic one and it's hard to find, most of them are slapping on tints, clear bras, etc.

It's not technically a mark up. They just add "options" to it (tint for 700, clear bra for $$, etc etc). The dealer I went to had tint, an "alarm system", clear bra, and trunk mats and it was 30K before anything. They also try to tell you that they can't remove the options....
