Anyway, back on topic, I haven't seen any BRZs in ATL at all, although there are quite a few on the forum. i have seen many FRSs though, and so far it looks like none of *those* guys are on the forum.
the problem is that it doesnt matter whether its "practical" to you or not. in comparison the the wealth of cars on the road, it is impractical. saying the frs is practical based on that argument is like saying the smartcar is fast because its fast enough for me.

Sure. I started on a BRZ only forum but it was dead so I came here. I'm just theorizing that compared to a lot of other cars, the FRS especially, could have a much higher % of owners on a web board.

I'd guess that the percentage of owners online for this car is higher than many other cars. Heck this car is so popular that we get a large share of online haters like JMaryT up there. Drives a Civic and has hundreds of posts on a FT86 forum WTF

Says the guy in the Civic.

Back on topic, I would guess there are less than 20% of owners on internet forums. We know it's a great "drivers car", but I think you guys over estimate how into cars most people are, even those that buy this car.

The BRZ's IIHS and ANCAP crash test videos are online.

Shame we have to live with the exceptional handling.

It's my daily driver, and I know I'm not the only one. In fact, I know I'm not the only one in Cincinnati.

Has anyone done a poll on how many peeps are using their BRZ / FRS as a daily?

Exactly THIS. Except I do not take offense to it. Saved all year to order and buy this car. Will it be worth it? To me it will and that is all that matters.

You make a good point. However, my argument is completely subjective. Is the 86 comparitively practical? Of course not. But its perfectly fine for my situation. Is a smartcar comparitively fast? Nope. Does it need to be? No idea, but it's definitely ugly as hell

My thoughts exactly. Well said.

This is my daily driver and I love the hell out of it. I am confused at the idea that anyone would buy this car then turn around and bash it for its faults/ short comings. Who goes out and buys a corvette and then says to theirselves..."damn ....I cant transport my 3 kids/ 2 dogs and wife + groceries. Let me go on the forums and complain about it...." really? lol

In my subjective opinion, this car is perfect. Im not worried about back seats because hauling more than 1 passenger is not a priority to me. Having 200 hp is not bad for a balanced car nor am I concerned because I know that there are options out there that can easily fix that. Mpg? I personally would prefer this than a hybrid that claims 40-50 +. Price - cant complain.

Married
No kids
1 dog
I now enjoy getting groceries and other misc small trips.
