Mine was good. Taking my car in today to get detailed and have my coating checked, should be nice and clean for Cars and Coffee and Twisted Sister tomorrow.

Guys I wanted to touch base with those that will be doing the Twisted Sister drive tomorrow. I am planning on leaving from Cars & Coffee at 9am to get back home at a reasonable time. I know it's early, but if you can't make that I'll stop by the Exxon gas station at 1604/Bandera from 9:15-9:30 for stragglers.

The route is slightly different (& it appears slightly longer) from what Ocho posted a few pages back & for clarity here's the route I'm planning on doing... I suggest printing it out before we head out...

I'm planning on getting some food at the Bent Rim Grill in Leaky - http://bentrimgrill.com/ Seems like a good place to regroup in case we get split up.

I'm not planning on driving fast & will always err on the side of safety. It's my first time out there & it seems the same like a lot of you. If there's experienced drivers that want to take the lead, please do.


Shoot me a PM before like 9pm tonight & I'll get you my mobile # or something so it'll be easier to meet up.

Yea ours was just 337....I think the full exp is 335, 336, and 337. but I don't have the time or patience for that sort of thing (6'2'' in this car is tough for long periods of time.) haha.....friend already says that P.R. 37 is just as good. (Will have to scout it myself). Yalll have fun though. I'm headed up to Amarillo today at Noon. Going to try and set a Personal best of under 7 hrs and go from there.

I'll have them with me tomorrow morning at Caffeine and Rides. These are nice as they feature a stainless hose clamp used for an easy, firm, trouble free attachment and these include the aluminum shims to center the tip on the OEM exhaust pipe. Well I'll be going to the sisters as long as the weather holds, and I am bringing the camera so well have to get a photo shoot somewhere along the way. I may also get out of the car and have ya'll do some passes for some nice panning shots (if ya'll are interested).

We are metering @ the D&B parking lot at 8am from there we are driving to C&C if interested we will be there

just got home from universal toyota, had my oil changed. The guy looked at me funny when i said I only had 2500 miles lol. But he said "i understand, its free anyways so why not", i smiled and said yup. took a few hours though, seems they were really busy.

Anyone looking at buying an Airaid intake? I pulled mine off (doesn't play well with a tune) and will probably sell it.

Hahah thats funny because I'm at 15k and have only done 1 oil change. I refuse to keep going back because all my driving is highway and I don't want to waste my last free one.... (1st was at 10k.)

How did it not play well? did you get your tune modified so that it would play well? I plan to get a Tekada soon so I wanna know what you mean didnt play well.

I had it tuned with it. The airaids were having issue with bogging at low RPMS (push the gas and nothing happens). I didn't have this issue until the tune and I figured the options were lose the tune or lose the intake... that was an easy decision

I don't think the Takedas had any issues

This is one of the reasons im scared of the intake market right now...How do we know what's reliable and what's not? I personally want the GReddy intake, but seeing stories like this makes me wonder.
