how about one of those waterblade things that you can use to dry the car? that might work on light snow and slush, but not heavy stuff.

Waterblade is a good idea. What about heavy stuff??
I do not want my car look like a car that I saw at our service center where the customer used a shovel to clear snow off his car. And he was wondering how it happened.

Never, ever use one of those water blades on your car. That's one of the easiest ways to scrape/scuff/marr the paint.

Usually when it snows I used the brush to skim most of the snow off the car then pushed the rest off using my hands.

Or just do what I used to do and say you have summer tires on the car and can't drive it, then just wait for the snow to melt.

So I was one of the many people caught in the shit storm yesterday driving from New Jersey/New York back to Maryland. Needless to say I love my car for getting me through it on stock tires.

When I remove snow from a car, I use a brush, but I take care to not clean all the way down to the paint. I remove the bulk of the snow and let the sun /engine heat take care of the rest.

Anyone out there having first and second syncro issues with the recent cold weather? U Hear about guys switching over to lighter weight gear oil and having good success with cold weather shifting. It's a pain but I've learned to live with it now having 10k on the thing but its frustrating having to do this with a new car! Ugggggg

First and second is a bit notchy when cold, but after about 5-10 miles it smooths out for me, so I just live with it.

Same here, isn't a big deal after the car warms up.
