damn man i feel for ya, hopefully that kit and everything you have bought for the car is salvageable, and regardless as much as it sucks, better the car than you man. good luck with the new build hopefully you will still have the same ammount of passion with the new car as you did with this one.

I already contacted the dealership nearby and they'll have another one ready in two weeks. I'm going to put a down payment tomorrow to hold it off and then I'm going to wait until the insurance part is done. Prime Motoring is pulling the parts off so we can migrate it to the new car... I'm still passionate, just going to sell the Elise... Gonna cut back on the load and make way for another car later on... Maybe R8... Who knows. This isn't the first accident I've been in...

From what we have seen so far, most of the major components of the kit are still salvageable.

R8!!!

Good news!!!

Also why sell the Elise?!? I wish I could fit in one so bad so I could have one!!!

Not to judge your automotive taste (I like your stable very much!) but the R8?!?

I always thought of that as the kinda downsy Lamborghini Gallardo...sure it's fun but at that price there are so many amazing cars to choose from...and dunno how you feel about American cars but the new Viper is pretty much amazing!!! It's all conjecture anyways, who am i to question your taste?

Glad you're okay!
Look at it this way, you'll have the excitement and anticipation all over again.
Well, probably to a lesser degree, but still...

Sad to see the latest pictures, glad you are alright. Has insurance given you a hard time with the amount of mods you have?

but if the guy just walking away from the accident isn't a testament to how well engineered the chassis is, then I dunno what it is

Insurance hasn't given me any grief about this, at least not yet. Going to have the Claims Adjuster look at the car end of next week. I have a noon appointment with the sales manager at a Dealership to put the down payment to hold the Ultramarine FR-S Manual for me. Once everything is said and done with Insurance, I should have a few grand in my pocket from the value (whatever it is...). I'll be just as excited as I was once we confirm all aftermarket parts are salvageable and can be put on the next one!!

@Supermassive - I'm open. R8, Vantage, Gallardo, Viper... It doesn't matter really... The FR-S is going to be matching all of them on the stretch
