There was another exhaust for our cars that appeared to have one of these wrapped around a muffler. Could have different lengths too for different rpm's to be really "tuned". @jeffsides I think knows the one.

Was originally thinking of making an adjustable version to be able to dial it in before welding.

That should accomplish the same thing but the one I remember looked like a snake wrapped around and coming out of the muffler. The evs is nice too.

I get a base map that was made by Visconti but it doesnt actually count as a Visconti tune since I bought it from P&L or some such nonsense. It doesn't really matter because I'm gonna be going with his flex fuel tune for boost which is a whole separate animal...but true Flex will be amazing.

Hi guys,

I recently bought a FRS in Asphalt color, and it needs some detailing. Any one know any reputable professional detailing place in Tempe or Gilbert?

thanks

+1 on Windows And Wheels, they did a great job on my car. This paint definitely needs the kind of protection that Opti-Guard offers. It swirls at the drop of a hat. Perhaps literally, depending on the hat.

Hey all, I got the JDM kneepads in a few days ago. The center console pads were pretty easy to install.

I haven't done the door speaker padding yet. I hear the door trim is harder to remove, so while I have it off I was thinking of installing a bit of sound damping material. And now I'm thinking that I should just go ahead and upgrade the 6.5" woofer in there with something a bit better.

What do you guys think, is it a worthwhile upgrade? Thought I'd throw this out since I know there are a few in our group who have done this before. I know diddly-squat about car audio, I'm hoping that at least some home theater audio knowledge will carry over though. Any recommendations as to type or brand of speaker? After doing some reading, it looks like a component (i.e. no coaxial tweeter) woofer would probably be the upgrade I want. Of the companies I know from home theater stuff that also make car audio equipment, I like Polk and Boston Acoustics, any thoughts on them or someone else I should be looking at? I'm really after clean, clear sound reproduction at very modest volume levels. I don't like a ton of bass, so I don't see a sub in my future.

I'd really appreciate any ideas you all have, thanks!
