LOLOLOL I got quoted 3600 for the FRS from farmers insurance and the lady I was talking to said not to even get it with them because they have very high rates for teenagers.

Im 18, LA
Statefarm comes down to 82/month for 6 months.

I just switched from State Farm to Geico. No tickets/points, drivers ed, family discounts for state farm...my premium was 344/mo with 500 ded. for collision and comp...now with Geico, it's 154/mo with 250 collision and 0 comp, with 50/100k liability now instead of 25/50 with state farm. Huge discount!

Edit: I'm also 20 years old with a perfect driving record.

Geico is awesome. I got great coverage for really cheap. Farmer's didn't know how to quote an FR-S.

I have Farmers Insurance... My premium went down when I got the FR-S. I'm 23 with at least two speeding tickets a year and one accident within the last 5 years. My husband is on the policy with his 2012 Prius and a few tickets. For $1000 deductibles and AZ minimum requirements for financed vehicles we pay $184/month a $20/month decrease.

My fiance and I are with Progressive. We have been with them for 6+ years. He drives an `05 tC & I drive the `13 FR-S. We both have clean records, got discounts for being loyal customers, my commute to work is <10 miles a day = $170/month for 6 months; $84 -->tC & $86-->FR-S

You might be getting by on the cheap but you really should review your limits of liability. If you totaled out another persons car equal in value to your FR-S your insurance company would pay out the limits of your policy which is $10,000.00 and you would be on the hook for the rest. How much do you suppose that would be? How much would you be out if you injured someone causing them to be nothing more than kept over night in a hospital?

I agree with you, but to clarify, there is no-fault (PIP) coverage required on all auto policies in Florida on top of the required liability coverage limits. So there is a bit of "padding" on their policies.
