I suppose it could be the tires. I'm running on Winter tires right now so perhaps they really don't like turns.

I had this for a while but it went away. I think it's that stuff they spray onto the exhaust to prevent rust but as you drive it it burns away

I smell a lot of burning! I knew it wasn't just me! It is mainly noticeable right after some drifting.
It's a new car thing. It will go away OP. if it doesn't go away then you might have a leak.

Had this occuring for the first few hundred miles on my new Ford Fiesta and Honda Civic, its normal

Good thing im not the only one who has this.. I guess its really normal. I just got my car last night. From the dealer to our house i placed it into sport and vsc sport i thought that i must have pushed it too much.

11, 000 miles and stink is worse than ever, and it gets I my clothes like cigarettes.

I smelled it when I got mine after like 2/4 days was gone..but sometimes I smell it then gone again..

i have a little over 11k miles on mine now and i smelled some sort of burning when i opened the hood after a 3 hour drive the other day. Didn't notice it until i opened the hood though once closed i didn't smell it anymore.

I have over 2500 miles on mine and every once in a while I smell burning oil. I did have the oil changed at 2000 but I have pulled the skid plate off and looked around and don't see any oil on anything, not sure if they could have screwed something up.

I also get black stuff on the out side of the car(white car) I didn't notice it till the last couple hundred miles. Not sure if it is from the tires(Blizzak WS-70s), brakes, or something else(I don't really drive hard either). When the car and roads are dry it comes off with a car duster and I haven't notice it on our other car. Anyone else see this?
