It was a fun event! It was awesome to see so many BRZ's/FR-S' at the track! I got the dreaded CEL and skid light at the second session and the car felt down 50hp and I couldn't turn off the traction control and VSC, which was very annoying. After finally getting the ECU reset by unhooking the battery, I was able to get back out for some fun. The car still felt slower though

Overall it was still fun. I need to get my damn CEL crap sorted out though.

So what were the results of the competition?

There was some great driving out there from you guys!

Not everyone identified themselves as a FRS/BRZ driver, so we had to go with what we had available... I'll make a post later when I have all the info.

Robi and I were struggling with hitting traffic; he hit a 1:25.2 and I hit a 1:26.0.

Setup info to come.

Those are some quick times! Nice job! Was that time Robi hit on the Hoosier slicks? My best of the day was 1:27.5 in the first session, I wish I didn't have the CEL/Skid light of death after that

yeah had to pull out the slicks for the 1:25
FTD (thanks mike for taking it easy on an old man)
imo had I gon to the Hoosiers earlier might have gotten a 1:24xxx track was cooling too fast late in the day.

I hope everyone got rides that were looking for them. If not I'll be back TESTING ON rs3'S the 29th and 30th

I'll be there 12/29 as well. Can't let Robi get too fast now...

The car has a 1:25 on it as it sits; data is showing a theoretical 1:25.4.

I may have to show up with some crackpipe tires of my own...

Great seeing you guys out there on Sat. I was in the SWP BRZ with blue tape. Had a lot of fun. Hoping to have good weather again next time we're out there.

Thanks to all the 86's that came out for this event! It was awesome to see so many at the track. Look for a complete FRS/BRZ comp series for next year.

Unfortunately I didn't get to much video footage at this event, but here is a little bit of the ROBISPEC FRS - see how flat that thing is in the corners:

I was also in a SWP BRZ with blue tape. I was running in the green group and only had my lights taped.
