Is that auto trans going to be able to hold up to 300-400whp?
Seems like a long shot for a daily driver or am I crazy.

Why not boost an auto, its his money, get over it.

As for P&Ls involvement, they made the kit but I'm pretty sure Visconti tuned this, I'm pretty sure the base 5psi map that comes with the EcuTek kit that I ordered with my P&L stage 1 turbo kit was made by Visconti, and he had posted in another thread that he was tuning a P&L system this week...as far as I know Kochino's car is the first and only customer car to have this system installed...so 2+2...

On a different note, I just got a package containing half of my turbo kit from P&L today, the rest comes first week of January. So far I have all the IC piping, new oil pan, Tial wastegate and BOV, all my silicone joints, intercooler, a ton of clamps, and the wastegate dump. Still to come is the turbo, headers, downpipe, Ecutek, injectors, fuel pump, and assorted other things im probably forgetting...oh yeah instructions! I got my IC piping red wrinkle coated and it looks amazing, cant wait to get this in the car.

Hate? I'm just sharing my opinion. As I said, different strokes for different folks.

A question like why bother doing all that work to an auto, sounds like you're trying to be insulting, or to make it look like the money being spent to upgrade his car isn't worth it. Some people prefer auto, others have to have an auto. In my case i have a 6 spd...but i will be honest if this car had a nice double clutch paddle shifter i would have gone with that over 6 spd. Manuals are fun, but if you've driven a good double clutch setup there's really no comparison.

Ok, aside from that blip a few posts ago - Supermassive, I'm glad you're getting your kits. I went with P&L because they are known to have strong hardware and builds, plus there's a warranty!!! That to me is a company sticking their necks out and are standing behind their work - I commend them for that alone! Plus the recommendation was given from Prime Motoring and they've proven their work and services to me so I made the choice of this kit by their words. Visconti is tuning my car, yes - he's the one that's putting all the mappings and flex fuel sensor+configuration. I may be overstepping, but I think I'll have the most technologically advanced FR-S on the road after this is done .

I might pick the car up tonight, maybe tomorrow - running low boost at the moment until final configurations are in with mapping options.

Also - I'm doing on an Auto Transmission because I want to. period. P&L built this kit around an automatic trans, so I'm not experimenting... well I am with the high boost mapping

Hah! Most advanced for sure, but I'll catch up!

Good to see you went with the AP arms, they are some stout pieces of aluminum thats for sure, and I love being able to easily adjust them. The perrin sway bar looks pretty good too, what size did you go with, I stepped down from 18mm to 16mm due to a few conversation in this forum but I went with Whiteline and have to wait for them to ship them from Oz...

I have no idea what size I went with... I'll ask lol. I just told Prime Motoring what I wanted on the car in general and they delivered without skipping a beat haha. Next up would be KW V3 Coilover system and Brembo BBK... I'm speaking 1:1 with Lux Motion on their 2.0 Wide Body kit which I may be acquiring Q1 of 2013... which means my new wheels will be on the market soon...

The KW's are really nice, I love mine. As for brakes, the more I look at them the more I am leaning toward the Essex AP Sprint or Endurance setups. Brembos are amazing in their own right but from what I've been seeing the AP kits seem to be out performing them in this application, dunno just my 2 cents. I keep following your car because I just drool over the pics of the damn turbo setup, January needs to hurry up and get here.

I received a picture from Lux Motion, but it's not primered or anything, very rough - It's best if Lux Motion shows their release when it's ready, you know how some people are when it comes to seeing an unfinished product... The wide body will allow me to put 18x11 and 18x12 on the car so I get far more traction!

And you're right, it's me driving the car and those who want to sample it if they're interested in buying the kit as well

I have wanted to run a wide body kit such as the Rocket Bunny kit but out DOT laws here allow only a maximum of 25mm track width increase which is a bit difficult going from 17"x7" +45 offset to 18"x10.5" +15 offset lol
I dont know how many officers would pick it up but if you are cutting the vehicle metal you really wanna be sure

I may have to take you up on that offer. Really interested how the E85 with the flex fuel option works out.

You're in Westchester so that makes it very easy for a test drive. Maybe at a car meet or something. I don't mind people enjoying my car and testing it, as long as they're respectful of other people's property (not saying I'm doubting you, just always have to state that lol). Contact me by PM if you know of any meets coming up.
