No color options, just black. Color options and slip-on carbon fiber tubes are awesome, but it was keeping us from being able to hit this ridiculously awesome price.

With all the money you'll save you could have them painted to match. BUT, our black texture powder coat looks extremely clean on any color car. Please let me know if you'd like to be included in this group buy!

Yep, Matt will post them up ASAP. We just got in the new brackets that were re-designed with feedback from the community. The word "sexy" comes to mind.

Because you guys are awesome like that.

AWESOMESAUCE FOLKS! Keep letting me know if you want in on the group buy because this price is absolutely ridiculous. Thank you very much to everyone that has responded so far, as this has been designed and tweaked just for you!

These photos show the final brackets but not the final hardware. Production hardware and strut ends will all be black zinc (not simply painted/powdercoated).

From the looks of it, you'll have to remove the bolts holding the hood to the brackets to install the struts?

Nope, because that would suck and you might accidentally drop the hood, and you won't have a spare hand, and your buddy couldn't come over to help because he forgot he had to do this thing for some event he didnt invite you to.

I slotted the "lower" mount of the hood bracket to make installation much easier. What you'll do is: Remove the lower bolt, replace with our bolt, but leave it loose with a gap. Then remove the upper bolt completely. NOW, you'll slip the bracket onto the lower bolt, replace the upper bolt, and tighten both. Done.

SUPER easy and safe installation. I designed it this way because when I used to work at speed shops I HATED having to unbolt hoods and installing poorly designed kits. I never caused any damage, but it was always something that I knew could happen so we always had special foam bumpers for the corners of the hood should anything happen. No need for that jazz anymore.

$40 - $45 freight for Oz via USPS

$100 + $42.50 = US$142.50 = AU$136

The guys in the US are going to have some freight too so not too painful.
