Consider yourself added to this highly exclusive list!!! You are in for the win. I already knew you were going to love it so I added you a long time ago. Well, you're in luck, they still look great sitting on the table. You're in. Yes I can! Thank you very much! What a perfect first addition! You're in. Quote:
With all the money you'll save you could have them painted to match. BUT, our black texture powder coat looks extremely clean on any color car. Please let me know if you'd like to be included in this group buy! Excellent, you're in! Yep, Matt will post them up ASAP. We just got in the new brackets that were re-designed with feedback from the community. The word "sexy" comes to mind. Because you guys are awesome like that. You are in! AWESOMESAUCE FOLKS! Keep letting me know if you want in on the group buy because this price is absolutely ridiculous. Thank you very much to everyone that has responded so far, as this has been designed and tweaked just for you! Chase Engineering These photos show the final brackets but not the final hardware. Production hardware and strut ends will all be black zinc (not simply painted/powdercoated). Last edited by GrimmSpeed; 12-20-2012 at 12:52 PM. |

From the looks of it, you'll have to remove the bolts holding the hood to the brackets to install the struts?

I slotted the "lower" mount of the hood bracket to make installation much easier. What you'll do is: Remove the lower bolt, replace with our bolt, but leave it loose with a gap. Then remove the upper bolt completely. NOW, you'll slip the bracket onto the lower bolt, replace the upper bolt, and tighten both. Done. SUPER easy and safe installation. I designed it this way because when I used to work at speed shops I HATED having to unbolt hoods and installing poorly designed kits. I never caused any damage, but it was always something that I knew could happen so we always had special foam bumpers for the corners of the hood should anything happen. No need for that jazz anymore. Chase Engineering |
