I was thinking about this as i was driving to work today, imagining myself in that situation... one impact with my FRS by that big truck and fleeing might not be an option. On the other hand, part of the victims problem in that video is that his vehicle was significantly slower than the perp's.

Just an update on this for DaJo and all others interested as he handed himself into Police today trying to say it was a FAKE video

Guy was only 21 as we like to call them here in AUS a dead set BOGAN

The man at the centre of a shocking road rage video that has become a viral hit claims it is a fake.

The 21-year-old Brisbane man fronted police for questioning over the matter and was met by a journalist from Australia's Channel 7.

He told the reporter: "You get a video and you get everything. If you make a fake. A fake video."

He made no further explanation of his claim.

Police have said investigations are on-going and no charges have been laid yet.

Ken Olsen a former policeman captured his terrifying ordeal on a dashboard-mounted camera as the unidentified driver in a Nissan Navara repeatedly crashed into his vehicle near Brisbane.

Olsen told Channel 7 he thought he was going to die after the crazed driver smashed his front windscreen with his fists.

The drama began when he felt his vehicle get hit from behind at an intersection in Cornubia last Saturday afternoon.

Over the next few minutes, the driver of the Navara repeatedly hit Olsen's vehicle, at one point slamming on the brakes and causing Olsen to run into the back of the ute.

"He'd crashed into my vehicle so many times I was convinced [my ute] was going to stop going, and I thought once my vehicle is not going, I have no protection, this bloke is going to kill me," Olsen said .

Olsen contacted Queensland Police as the attack was taking place, with the operator warning him not to stop and to drive straight to the nearest police station. Every time he tried to get to a station, the other driver would either crash into him or attempt to push him off the road.

"I can't. He keeps cutting in front of me and cutting me off," Olsen told the operator.

Olsen was forced to drive on the footpath a number of times.

"Thankfully no people were using it. Normally on weekends people are walking their dogs, pushing prams, cycling," he said.

The footage also shows a female passenger waving her arms from the passenger's seat of the Navara and yelling at Olsen.

The drama ended when the driver of the Navara stopped, ran towards Olsen's ute, leapt over the bullbar onto the bonnet, and punched in the windscreen. The offender then fell off the bonnet.

Olsen sped away and the engine of his ute seized just as he arrived at a police station.

"I've never been happier to be somewhere," he said.

"This has shaken me. It's something that you don't expect and it's something that's very difficult to deal with. How do you deal with somebody trying to . . . kill you on the road? I'm struggling," he said.

According to Channel 7, the driver of the other vehicle has contacted police and plans to turn himself in.

A spokesperson from the media unit of Queensland Police told Fairfax Media the matter was still under investigation.

"No-one has been charged at this stage. It's still an ongoing investigation at the moment."

Police are calling for witnesses who may have seen the incident to come forward, and have released pictures of another ute they suspect may have seen the initial incident that provoked the attack.

No chance. Handguns especially so, its almost impossible to get a license for a handgun unless you are a competitive target shooter. All guns must be locked in a safe disabled, and only people with a gun license are allowed to have access to it, not even other family members. Only professional hunters (who can justify it) are allowed something that is semi-automatic. You'd be a very brave man to use a gun in self defence, as the way we have to keep guns means going to a safe and reassembling a gun is usually not the easiest course of action. These laws came in after a guy went on a 35 person killing spree with an AR-10.

Don't know about you guys but I was more mad about the damn operator not listening. Lol. Clearly the guy chasing is insane and the guy on the phone needed IMMEDIATE help.

Why the fk would you ask "DO YOU NEED A DISPATCHER?!" When the guy's voice clearly showed fear.

Not on what is going to happen to him but here is some more info as he also has done it to another person

Today another alleged victim came forward, saying she and her daughter were by approached by the same driver of the same car on Sept 29th.

The woman said she contacted police, and will be contacting them again.

Officers say the black ute isn't registered to the 21-year-old accused, but a family-run business
