I have both a Tundra and an FRS. In a straight line, the Tundra smokes the FRS. Not even a contest. 5.7L v. 2.0L. Add one 90 degree turn, though, and the FRS wins. So my advice: make sure the course has at lease one corner in it; the more corners, the larger your margin of victory. But on a track, it's the Tundra. I was going to add, "make him tow a space shuttle," but now that's not going to get you the victory, either.
I've said it before here, the Tundra and the FRS are exact opposites; what one does well, the other one doesn't. |

Wow, I can't believe I actually looked up the f#%king 0-60 time of a V8 Tundra....
Yes, you will lose in a drag race. Tough nuts, bubba! Tell him that if his truck were allowed on a road course (it isn't) you'd annihilate him with superior handling. Then incite a troll war on the Tundra forum instead of here.

As someone who came from a Tundra (and a v6 at that), he'll be laughing... till you show him your fill up receipts.

Not having to hit the brakes going around freeway turn, not having to lean in my seat to keep my vision level, not being associated with the whole "truck nuts" thing, actually being able to get into a parking space without an assist, never wondering whether I will fit under a drive-through awning, actually being able to avoid hitting that deer, getting 30 mpg on average...especially getting 30 mpg average. Sure the Tundra has its advantages (faster in a 1/4 mile, carries A LOT more, better handling in adverse conditions, can see over things, can pull the space shuttle, could punch through a building if necessary, eats microcars), but from a normal daily-driving experience, I'll take the FR-S any day. |

I have both BRZ and DC Tundra. I would bet on the Tundra, but they are pretty close in hp/lb. If it was a regular cab Tundra 5.7L with the tow package, you'll lose. CrewMax, you may have a chance. Also depends on how much crap he's got in/on the truck (toolbox, etc..).
Silly comparison, but someone has to do it. |

Mostly, just people who have Tundras.
Last time I went to the strip, half the vehicles out there were full size trucks. A couple of them were unexpectedly quick. Maybe they were just having a good time, or perhaps setting a baseline on asphalt before hitting the mud bog.
