I know it is a silly question, does anyone feel any different in high speed? Before and after install? I guess this is mostly for cosmetic purpose?

Well, per STI:

Quote:
It is the material of rubber aero spoiler attached to the rear end of the car aero package. Conducted wind tunnel test vehicle at STI, increase downforce by rectifying the air subjected to surface wing without increasing the (CD) air resistance, this product was developed property ground of the drive wheels at high speeds improve.
ATL BRZ might be the only one besides switchlanez that hasn't put away their BRZ for the winter that might also have the gurney flap and have had an opportunity to drive at "high speeds" with it. I know ATL BRZ has for sure, so hopefully he'll chime in.

I'm hoping to order this on Friday. No drilling holes, just prepping the wing and chopping the screws. I'll keep the STI badge on there, too.

You actually have to apply the STi sticker. It doesn't come pre-applied.

Please don't flame me for this guys, but just the other day I was at Home Depot and saw this piece of black rubber modling in the plumbing section that looked just like the gurney flap wing. I was tempted to measure off the section and try it for fun. :happy0180:

Do it. If that works for you. the NASIOCers have been using garage door trim for years as a front skirt lip alternative. The rear should be no different. :happy0180:
