If it was a framed door, I would... and if it was a frameless window that didn't have the auto crack feature, I would too.... and I guess if there isn't any fix short of parking it in a garage, I would eventually just accept it as a fact of ownership.

It just seems that the system is overly sensitive to moisture.... and I never really noticed any of my friends BMW 3 series back when they had frameless windows suffering from the same problem (although they had countless OTHER issues! ).

The door can still be open and closed if the window is at full height.

Go to the dealer. I believe they have to program the auto window function.

Same for DRL's on or off.

I don't recall seeing an option to disable the auto scroll function.
And I'll confirm you can open and close the door without it.

What I do before opening the door is to push all around it, where it as contact with rubber. It works 9 times out of 10.

Silicone spray

I have used some silicone spray lubricant to prevent the window from sticking to the rubber trim around the frame. I sprayed some on a shop towel and ran it over the trim. There is no longer any sticking.

As for the bottom of the window at the door I'm wrestling with a squeaking issue right now. Any tips? Looks like something is misaligned since I get some strip streaks on the window. I guess I could also try silicone spray lubricant there too - just don't want it all over my glass as I roll the window up.

I also agree with the excess moisture. Almost like our doors have some kind of internal sponge soaking up all that water.

Interesting idea with the silicone spray, you worried about the chemicals eating away the rubber? Been dealing with the squeak/streaking on both windows, worse on drivers though. I want to take the door panel off but heard some people saying the moisture shield inside seems like a one-time use and break seal if taken off. I guess it'll be a warranty thing.
