In my BRZ a/t I am also getting low mpg, around 22-24mpg (fuelly calculated). I driven 50/50 city/highway. This is with 18" wheels, sticky tires (large diameter), stock intake, hks exhaust and stock tune. I had the injen for about a week also and the mpg did not change. Even with those slight mods, I should probably be getting a higher mpg.

I've also been driving a stock/ tuned manual FRS for about a week , and with similar driving, I've been getting about 25-27mpg (trip computer).

Bob @Drift-Office noticed this and confirmed it was odd to have such low mpg. He's looking into it.

Part of the problem may be my driving style,I am usually around the 3-5k rpm before I shift and I am heavy on the throttle. Sometimes I'll put it in "Camry" mode to drive more conservatively.

Good luck at the dealer man. Hopefully it won't be nothing more than the intake.

Hah!

ETA: I have slid it around more than a few residential corners at 25mph, though, so maybe...

I get about 25-26 mpg between fill ups. I usually fill it up at a quarter of a tank and don't like letting it get any lower (Just a habit I've always had) and that gets about 220 or so miles. I don't drive like crazy, but I'm also not the slowest driver around and my commute takes me on slow interstate traffic, and slow city traffic with a lot of lights both ways. It's probably the agressive starting between stops that does it in for me.

I go a minimum of 300 so far, I think I waited till 320 on my last fill up and it filled 11.7 gallons. I've not gone below 28 avg so far either but I'm not riding the peddle, just commuting.

I average over/under 30mpg and I fill at 300. I could press it for well over 300 but I'm only ever doing stop/go city driving.

Yeah I spoke with bob also and he will be taking a peek when I have him do my install for springs. I will see if I can get the stock intake installed to see if it fixes it.

I get 18-20 MPG, I drive mostly in the city, LOTS of stop and goes. All stock and I use 93 at the pump. Last I checked when I got around 25-28 with mixed city/highway. I think I ride the peddle...

I go up a lot of hills on my commute, I'm getting about 200 miles per tank, filling up about once every 7 days. A lot of my commute is <30MPH during the week, and every morning involves stop lights, hills, and more.

I also have an AT, no mods whatsoever. 91 gas of course.

According to the mpg gauge I am getting between 28-31 mpg. Filling up on quarter tanks with a lot of highway commuting. I will start to double check the mpg at the next couple fill ups.

In town I only ever get about 17 to 18mpg. On the highway I get between 30 and 40. My guess is my work commute is about 2 miles from the house filled with stop lights the entire way. If I could do the drive with no stopping my in town average would be much higher.

Just as a follow-up to my post, I am basically amazed and happy with the mpg. I had a Ford Focus 2012 previously that claimed higher mpg (28/40) but for some reason I was always averaging 28 with a mix of street and highway. I expected to average higher since I was on the freeways pretty often. I've had 34+ easy when mostly on the freeway with the FR-S.
