I'm an AT owner and I have to say I've experienced this the last and current tank I'm on. My MPG has dropped to around the 21-22 mpg range, where as I was consistently getting 25-26 before. My driving habits have not changed nor have I made any adjustments/modifications. The only things that have changed is the weather/temperature, but can weather and temperature adversely affect MPG?
I also wonder if the quality of the gasoline being brought in is being changed. Last tank was SHELL and current tank is with 76. |

I get anywhere from 25-28 MPG, mixed driving. Good amount of highway but also hilly city roads in San Francisco.

I have a guess that mine is caused by the intake since I noticed the drop after install.

you are probably running rich. Get a tune or take off the intake. Problem should be solved.
I don't want to sound like a **** but this is for learning experience in the future. If you install something and then all of a sudden something isn't right, undo it and see if it goes back to normal. Reset the the ecu with a battery grain and give it about 50 miles for it to relearn before you get a good answer though. (Did you do this after the intake install? That alone could help) |

More air is going to require more gas to keep the AF ratios the same. ECU is probably overcompensating for the airflow going out of a standard range...it might eventually learn and lean itself out a bit.
