Hopefully they do better than they did with the Tundra, I saw tons of them blown up due to the tuning being off, keep in mind it was a dealer reflash.

Not really. Some TRD parts are classified as "race-only" or "off-road only" parts and carry no warranty. IF this TRD supercharger doesn't pass CARB emissions testing, it'll probably be considered a race part. If it does pass CARB testing, it'll carry a 1-year, or balance-of-the-drivetrain warranty if installed by a dealer.

if it passes CARB it will carry 36 months/3 year for the supercharger kit itself and let you retain the power train warranty

if it is off road only(doesnt pass CARB) then it will carry 1 year/6,000 miles for the supercharger kit alone and voids the power train warranty (this covers any defects or it doesnt make the power they promise)

yeah i hope they get the tuning sport on... even if they delay the supercharger till next june or even august, as long as my engine doesnt pop then im happy...

Ive read recently that subaru is going to have a turbo for the 2014 brz sti and they are aiming for 280hp. I would assume that TRD will try to compete

Care to elaborate? I also read that they will be adding 2000 more 2013 brz's to the united states due to high demand. So the total number of brz's in the US has gone up.

It's another one of the hearsay we keep getting fed, nothing more than just a rumor. There is a thread in the BRZ general section. Me (and I'm sure you too) will believe it when we see it.
