** Sorry if I'm going to crash this thread, sorry to offend anyone. But thanks for allowing people to read my post. It's always good to permit help. If you feel it's inappropriate, I'd be happy to delete it.**

With 3 growings kids of my own and 2 toddler-boys nephews, I'd be more than happy to give anyone some needed supplies. New and used stuffs from cribs to clothes, to unused gift stuff. Take what you need and want. Been donating to friends since my family is done birthing kids (for the moment).

PM me to trade numbers since texting/pictures are much faster that way.

Bring your FRS/BRZ, I'm sure my ultramarine can use a friend. Live in 925 in between Dublin and Alamo.

Donation, that's up to you. For example, I've donated a 15 gallon tub full of 0-3 yrs old girls clothes to a friend. And recieved donation on $100 worth of NIP babyshower gifts for $10. Bring your expecting wife/GF, let her rummage. Goodwill/Salvation Army, we've stopped collecting receipts long ago. Craigslist, takes too long and I don't want my wife going out there.

Thanks for taking the time to read and congrats to you for welcoming a child.

Infant rear facing carseat is going to be really tight for the front passenger, probably dangerous as well as she/he would be way too close to the airbag. The infant would also suffer retina burnins from the sun.

I have another car for infant transport, my toddlers get to sit with daddy in the FRS in their front facing carseats!

Anyone else have some car seatsthey have tried and work or tried and failed? For others please think before you open your mouth and spout off about safety. If i wasn't concened about that i wouldn't be asking what car seats have worked for others in this car.

I fit Britax Diplomat rear and front facing - no one was going to sit in the front passenger seat but the car seat fit fine. I believe Edmunds did a writeup on it and claimed it was difficult / they couldn't do it?

I'm 5'8" and there's no way I could get a reasonable bucket rear facer in the back. Maybe one without the base, but trust me with a newborn you want the bucket/base. It's only 1 year, then they can go front facing - no problem with those. I have a huge Radian XT in the back of mine fine.

As someone who is looking to start a family this upcoming year with the wife, I am hoping there are some car seat options that will work...

Since this, we have moved up to a front facing seat which fits great.

See my above post, there are options that work. (Of course there are exceptions to every rule, so it will not work for every single person, but it does work for most).

Wife fits fine, normal distance to the airbag. Then two things for the infant. #1, sun does not get in there much because of the angle in the roof. Second, 20% tinted window takes care of UV rays.
