Subaru financing or use something else?

Should I stay with Subaru Financing (rate is 4.9% for my four year financing) or should I get a loan somewhere else? What are you guys doing? I find the Subaru rate to be outrageous. With 4.9% after 4 years i'll be paying more than 3 grand just in interest. My Altima coupe was financed at 0.65% with Nissan...

"I find the Subaru rate to be outrageous."

Seems to me that you find the rate outrageous. Therefore, find a lower rate.

Try through your bank and see what rates they'll offer, but usually the dealer rates are a little bit lower

The 2 or 3 year financing was like 1.9% when I was looking. I paid cash so I don't remember really.

1.49% APR

If you are not military or Gov employed, it costs only 20 bucks to join.

Good luck

Edit - just realized you are in Canada.. not sure but may still work

2 year financing is 2.9%, 3 year is 3.9%, 4 year is 4.9%. I wish I have $33000 in cash to buy my BRZ.

Banks always offer me car loans at 11%+. 4.9% is average for cars that aren't on clearance through dealerships, in my experience. I am pretty sure the rate on my FR-S is 6%.

Used and New car loans and sometimes treated differently. Also my FRS is 2.7 through Toyota...

I checked my banks, and neither could come close (as ridiculous as that is) to the 4.9% Toyota was offering.

Credit unions and USAA are the methods I'm planning to rock. Don't know that either of those are helpful to you though, sorry man.
