i would have to look at the pics again, but with this pan i am not sure you have many options as its a fairly shallow pan.

Oil is gravity fed. Don't take much pressure.

No one said anything about the turbo. Talking about the drain plug.

This is from the garrett site in the turbo tech 101.

Garrett ball bearing turbochargers require less oil than journal bearing turbos. Therefore an oil inlet restrictor is recommended if you have oil pressure over about 60 psig. The oil outlet should be plumbed to the oil pan above the oil level (for wet sump systems). Since the oil drain is gravity fed, it is important that the oil outlet points downward, and that the drain tube does not become horizontal or go “uphill” at any point.

I've had issues from tapping in the bottom of the oil pan before I went to dry sump, it was caused by oil always sitting in the bottom of the drain line that pretty much needs to be pushed out of the way for the turbo oil to get to the sump, depending on the amount of oil being expelled by the turbo there is a far greater chance of the oil drain line being backed up with oil and causing damage to the turbo seals.

Happened to me running a brand new gtx4294r with a -12 drain line and a 1mm restrictor in the oil feed fitting.

Waiting with baited breath on the next post... Definitely setting an example that most of us here would do just about anything to follow, in regards to your skills.

I confirm: EJ flange and FA flange are the same for the exhaust manifold!
