After the past 6 month wait, im only days away from driving it now. Likely to pick it up on sat or monday. With such a long wait it doesnt feel real yet. Best xmas ever!

Either ring your Dealer or Toyota [1800-252 097] and ask what ship it's on, they should be able to tell you now

same here. u'll be driving urs first though! since it'll be offloaded in syd prior to melb. these 2 - 3 weeks are going to be the longest weeks ever.... its leaving townsville now!! COMN! next stop BRISBANEEE

i went crazy again and did rough calculations and the oregon highway should land in melb docks at approx 10.30PM 18th december. give or take a few hours. ><

Yeah it was preparing for transport for nearly a week, then today it went to 'transporting to dealer' then 'at dealer' within about 2 hours.

At dealer ready for pickup on Tuesday

Got korean public holiday so will be pickin up Wed (work thing).

Ordered june 16th, so pretty much exactly 6 mths. finally

Grand motors toyota on southport gold coast. It arrived today along with a white. I dropped by after work to take a look and omg

Still not feeling that its MY car yet. Maybe tomorrow when i pick it up that feeling will change.

The person thats picking up a white tomorrow from same dealer a member here?

You may be able to get it just before Christmas if you are lucky.

Why not? Didn't you get your car sooner because you were lucky enough to get one of the extra allocation granted from Japan?

yeah i guess. LOL but i think my luck stops there. i dont wanna get my hopes up. and also with the festive season. doubt anyone will work during that xmas week so deliveries/prepping the car wont happen i think. it'll just be sitting in the holding yard til after new years i rekon

Nice one buddy! I had my Black GT on order through them but just kept getting pushed back. Aaron was really good keeping me updated though and was happy enough for me to cancel my order after I found one in Hervey Bay - I will hopfully be getting another one from him in the future.
