Damn those wheels look good on the FR-S! I really can't justify spending more than a quarter of the cost of the car on just wheels, though.

Beautiful car, beautiful photographs. Just enough tasteful mods to make it unique without butchering the original styling.

Colour-Matching Spats

Hi @Hotchkis. Any issues with chipping of the colour-matched spats? I also have a Hot Lava 86 and I've ordered a set that I want to get colour-matched. Not sure whether to give it a go myself or get them done by a pro.

Hi peter_ind,

We actually had the mud guards painted professionally just using the color code. They match the rest of the car pretty close. However, It might not be too critical to have the color matched perfectly since they are small pieces and they are near the bottom of the car. If you have some experience painting, you may want to give it a try yourself.

Regards,
-Aaron

Thanks Aaron. Managed to get a can of colour matched spray. That plus much clear coat and wet rub and they've come up nicely. Thanks for the idea

I would like to order hotchkis camber mount. Do I just buy this? Can this be installed on stock shock directly? I did not see any spring holder.
