I have my doubts regarding the option of a panda package as a startup option.

sad, I know, but maybe a dealer option or some sort of a special edition (which sucks for those of us who want itdue to low availability)

I doubt we'll ever see a panda package. The original 86 has a cult following, and the majority of the people walking onto the lot and looking at the car probably won't know the inspiration of the FR-S. If they see a panda package car sitting there, they're more likely to think it silly looking and about 25 years out of date for automotive styling and just walk away or buy the non-panda car.

There'll probably be aftermarket vinyls to pandafy your car, though.

here's mine sir: definietely getting mine in RED!!!
RED: CODE RED or something close to mistubishi evo x rally red metallic or a custom slightly dark candy apple red
YELLOW: scion tc high voltage yellow
ORANGE: as per repainted mkII at frankfurt PURFEECT
BLACK: black as per original mkII

A color scheme that came from the factory with black vinyl over the body color.

My new favorite color: Starlight Black!

I test drove an '11 Lexus IS-F today (awesome!) in this color, absolutely spectacular!
It's a black with gold flake. It looks black in the dark, and a very dark metallic charcoal in the sunlight. Very nice!!!

On a side note, I hope the FT86 gets seats like in the IS-F, they were comfy as, and very supportive.

I like white since it mixes well with other colors, like chrome or black. It's keeps the car cooler and it doesn't scream "ticket me" to the po po.

Mine

BLACK - Lexus Obsidian
BLUE - Lexus UltraSonic Blue Mica or RSP
RED - Acura Inza Red Mica or Lexus Matador Red Mica

Those are the only colors I'd consider. If I go black, I'd just black out the whole car but if they come out with one of those kind of blues then I'd feel a strong pull to that as well. Red would be a 3rd option, but the other 2 colors would have to suck and the red would have to kick ass for me to consider it.
