Nice Pmok, those roads look so clear! Too bad we can't have a meet in the middle of the day on a week day . From what I remember the last time I drove it, the place was crawling with cyclists by 10am on a sunday...

well I bet most people have Christmas day off, and I doubt anyone will be on this road.

awesome news on the tails!
I'll try and stop by Speed Element on Thurs to join you guys... depending on when you get the car done might have time... but I have to get over to peninsula by 5pm, for a free screening of The Hobbit

I'll be there around 11AM. I said Saturday, but if you check the flyer it's clearly Sunday! lol.

It's a decent sized BBQ, there will be a lot to eat!

well if it's not ready yet, I can always meet you guys in my MR2. I think it will give you guys a run for the money, in the canyons at least.

I told the Subaru guys to take their time and do it right... they said they only have one BRZ-certified tech there and he's their senior master tech. Hopefully they do a good job... although I did get into a weird discussion with them when I went to order the crash camber bolts for the front suspension at parts ... the senior master tech came out to tell me the bolts weren't needed, that the BRZ was engineered differently from the FR-S so I shouldn't mess with it... well I ordered the bolts anyways ($14 for 2 bolts!) and will take it under advisement.

It's DI, fueling will always be loud. It is on other DI cars (VAG 2.0t (FSI) and Bimmer N54 to name a few). Noise is NOT going away and it doesn't mean something is wrong.

I had many people ask my if my VAG 2.0t was diesel it's so fucking loud at idle.
