The line "and insider divulged that the name FT-86 alludes to that measurement (86mm), but this has not been confirmed" is just weird. Do they really don´t know where the name comes from?

The estimated weight is also too optimistic IMO.

FT86:
Length: 163.78 inches / Width: 69.29 inches / Height: 48.19 inches / Wheelbase: 101.18 inches
S2000:
Length: 162.7 inches / Width: 68.9 inches / Height: 50 inches / Wheelbase: 94.5 inches
Weight: 2809lbs

CaymanS:
Length: 172.1 inches / Width: 70.9 inches / Height: 51.4 inches / Wheelbase: 95.1 inches
Weight: 2965lbs

Here's a comparison to the Honda S2000

SO DO GUYS THINK THIS CAR IS GOING TO BE AS FAST AS AN S-2000? i hope so! the S-2000 is an awesome car!

Here's my take on the mannequins. I measured the height of the car in pixels and used the fact that that is 50" to come up with a scale (1 pixel = ~.3in). I think the mannequins are both the same height, I just didn't do a very good job straightening them. My guess is that they're both 6'.

Question is, how much does it weigh?

I think it's good to have the option, even if you are crammed in there. I have never sat in the back seat of a coupe (E46, tC, Civic Si, Mustang) where my head didn't bang up against the glass, but it still beats walking

It's pretty awesome that it will seat 2+2 and still be the size of a Miata/Cayman, and looks like it will have decent cargo room with the seats folded.

That's a pretty close approximation assuming the bald guy and the guy in the studio are around 6'0.
