That's interesting. They would not give me any compensation for that as it was not a safety or drivability concern but just an annoyance..

They did give me a free 7 year 100k mile warranty which means I get 1250 back for what I purchased when I bought it.

Yeah it seems hit and miss if they give out anything good I made it clear that it was a hassle for me to always be dropping the car off at the dealership.

I feel good having it too. Another cel survivor said his engine got oil starved this weekend and blew his engine. Thinks that the ecu reflash the dealer gave him was just a bandaid for the issue.

Hey everyone! Thanks again to everybody for coming out Saturday. As always, it was wicked cool having you guys down there... Except for Yruyur, he tried to ruin our whoop section by shoveling it with his rear valence.

Seriously though, good times. Matt and I have started looking into how to make an automated timing system out of some garage door openers and an arduino maybe. If we can get it right then it will take less people at the AutoX and maybe we can man some other activities elsewhere on the property.

As for the floor plates, we can do as many as people want, we could figure something out for the passenger side, whatever people feel like. If anybody does CAD, or would like to learn, come down to the factory and we can teach you and you can put a personalized design on it! Tracey is the guy to talk to though if you just want an FRS/BRZ/FT version of what he got.

Hey, what have you guys heard about what boost you can give to the 2.0L stock? p.s. I do realize that is kind of a simplistic version of a more complicated question, but I'm just looking for the off the cuff answer.

That thread with the tablet install was awesome and got us thinking a lot down here. Has anybody played around with 3D plastic printers at all. I saw this Nexus stand on Thiniverse and thought I'd pass it along:
http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:36051

Obviously it only fits a specific car, but you could do all kinds of bezels and mounts with the 3D printing stuff. Shift knobs, vents, gauge pods... anyway, sidetracked, anybody ever messed with printing like this?

I have in the past the engineers would design something email the design and asked us to print it and test it for fit and clearance I know the printer and software was crazy expensive. I do know that you can build a make shift 3d printer at home but it will not be nearly as detailed or able to make as solid objects.

Dude, I like where your head is at. Never do something manually if it can be automated!

Id just like to reiterate you guys are awesome.
