Unfortunately, I'm not very superstitious (my Dad is the complete opposite, however).

And I believe that if I'm screwed... Then I am truly and officially screwed.

In the drift world we call them drift charms. Lots of people have anime characters and other stuff hanging off their tow hook.

My buddy used to have a pokeball. I have yet to find out what mine would be.

Do you really not know?

The OP posted a photo of some random schmoe that happened to be in the parking lot of the dealership he bought his car from, most likely a bum poking around for cans to recycle.

The schmoe "claimed" to be one of the lead engineers of the 86. Yea right! Like we were born yesterday...

Totally agree!

Since I was born in the year of the rat, I have a good luck charm made of jade in the shape of the rat that hangs on my rear view mirror (it's an asian thing, haha). I've had this in my two previous cars that I owned ('84 Toyota Camry & '96 Ford Mustang). I just got my Whiteout Manual last night and transferred my good luck charm over. I have not stopped smiling since I left the dealership last night, I still feel like this is a dream!

P.S. Congrats on your new ride and definitely jealous of your autograph from Tada-san....talk about hitting the jackpot!

LOL Same here, though mine is not mounted straight on the dash for everyone to see like every toyota camry parked at the Mandir haha

I have a stuffed giraffe that rides in my center console all of the time.
His name is Thomas Girafferson.

I didn't totally understand this but I think the concept was that a female baby is very lucky and my parents said my niece should be the first one to sit in my car after me. So I scooped her up as soon as I left the dealership

Lol yeah I know some people don't like to have it there, but I do. It gives the car a unique touch compared to most in my opinion.
