Living a block from the Lamborghini/Lotus/Aston Martin/ Generic Supercar Dealership kinda takes the awe out of seeing these cars in person. At this point whenever I see one on the road it's less "holy.... An Aston Martin!" and more "eh, there goes someone with money"

Why can't it just be like the first, original FT-86 concept? That thing was beautiful. F'king safety regulations.

This version appears to come riced-out straight from the factory. It looks too Japanese IMO, and isn't "classic" enough.

Sorry what? I agree that MkI ver is better looking than MkII... but what do you mean as "looks too Japanese"? or "isn't 'classic' enough"? Did you want pop up headlights?

I'd rather have it look japanese. American car designs are all "blah" at this point.

Hopefully im not the only one who thinks this and hopefully toyota reads all these comments.... but... ITS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Down to every last bolt I am utterly obsessed with this car. If the dont change anything to this car then I may have to just live in the damn thing! Also, after seeing this vibrant orange and the code red, I really hope that they continue to make awesome colors rather than boring everyday production colors. Lets see some vibrant blues lime greens... fuck it, even give us purple and yashio pink!

EDIT: I also did notice in the vid that he said November 13th??? Would that just be for japan i'm assuming?

It's going to be unveiled in production form on Nov 30, on sale in spring 2012.

Some of them are less than memorable designs. The Ferrari California comes to mind. Just looks like a brick. Not to mention the fact that I saw one yesterday accelerating hard, and I was surprised to see how much the rear suspension was squatting. WTF.

But I think the Gallardo, although a little dated, is an extraordinary design, and the DB9 is a pleasure to look at.

Nonetheless, I get what you're saying. :happy0180:
