That what it's worth, ballpark. All the aftermarket parts you installed (prob around $4-5k used once pulled) are worth roughly squat while still installed.

Trade for NSX is at least not tens of thousands apart.

Good luck though.

A stock Rsx with 48,000 miles is worth more than 10k. My parts used is about 10k, the supercharger and k pro alone is $4000 used

That's a sweet RSX, I like the setup.

Unfortunately, this is the result of car modifications. Cars are a depreciating asset in most cases; regardless of modifications. Only a car enthusiast can appreciate modifications done on a car, but in retrospect, most people don't want to buy a car with a long lists of modifications that were done prior to their ownership. Any owner can argue "not abused" and "adult driven" but most people wouldn't take that at face value.

Stock RSX with an accident record, possibly flood damaged? I doubt that.

Of course they are. To you. Everyone thinks their stuff is worth tons. Until they try to sell it.

I see your previous ebay auction ended with like $11k. Which is consistent with what I said. The market has spoken
You might be able to get $2-$3k more, but that will take time. You're always better off reverting back to stock and selling the parts.

Yes If I part out now have about $7000 worth of parts spoken for and a guy wants the car for $12000 the time it will take to part out is going to suck though

I don't think my stuff is worth tons I have an actual offers for the parts if I decide to part out

My ebay listing ended at 11k with people calling me offering 15k I would rather part the car out then sell for 15
Which I just might do

Think about it though, most frs owners have had the car less than 10k miles, and everyone ive read is very happy with the car. If they wanted an rsx, they would not have just purchased an frs. (And no, most people would not take an nsx over an frs, totally different vehicles, same as the rsx, like saying most pickup drivers would take an frs over their truck...) i know the pains of selling a modified car, ive gone through it 7 times myself now, a few times i took a loss, which i was prepared for as i understand that mods are not an investment. A few other times i made back a fair portion of what i had spent, and once i just got damn lucky
I see the trade in value for ur car is roughly 15k stock etc.. If your sc is worth 4k used, sell that, and maybe 1-3 more major parts, and see if the dealer can offer you more than 15k trade in.. Who knows, u might break even good luck!

Your right that's y I'm going to part the car out. Just don't want to it takes up a lot of time. I guess it's better this way. The more a read about the frs the more if feel that I would not be happy with it. I would have to do the same mods to the frs that I did to the Rsx. First of all 200 hp is not enough. Second the same tires on a Prius, might be the reason the car slides everywhere, put tires with grip see what happens. Third rims are ugly as hell. Forth the ride height is to high. Fifth The power to weight ratio is almost the same as the Rsx which came out 10 years ago. Sixth most of the frs owners think to highly of there cars. Seventh the interior is cheap. Eighth I could go on and on but I'll stop.

I know a lot of you are going to read this and be mad. All of this is just IMO.

Where did you find such a high value? KBB is around 13k, NADA @12k for a clean one, edmunds is less, but his car has been in an accident, few acura dealers will take it. Other dealers will pay way less. He should sell to a private party on an acura/honda forum a part it there too. Other routes will yield less.

All of this coming from a person that wants or wanted to trade for a vehicle that is now inferior? Everyone is entitled to their opinions, you just realized that no one here is going to trade a brand new car for an 8 year one. Thanks and have a nice day.

Says the guy with a car with 30 000$ worth of upgrades. You'll never be satisfied.
