Same here. 800 miles, burning smell (not as bad as the first few hundred miles, but still there) and smoke from passenger side exhaust (noticed it for the first time today, a month after I got the car -- then I read this thread).

I had this too from 9 miles to about 250 miles on my odometer. It will dissipate progressively as you approach 1000 miles. I just hit 1000 miles yesterday. Normal.
