Here is a link to the color, which is a similar orangish color to this Frankfurt FT.

Maybe this just happens to be pure coincidence, idk.

Oh and sorry to all the new member haters.... I just joined, but have been lurking around for a very long time.
Very nice work. .

And we don't hate new members. It's the things people say here that piss some of our older members off.

I swear, i had that colour on my mind since the first concept. I was in love with the colour when i was driving the Audi TT tuned by HPA on Gran Tursimo 5. I thought to myself, Dam...imagine FT-86 with Orange/Tangerine paint, would be so sexy and i'm so going to get it in that colour either by dealership (if offered) or after-market!

Toyota you read my mind! LOVE THESE PHOTOS! *WALLPAPER*

Nice color indeed!

Now we can only hope Toyota don't down tune it too much with Production model.

Hi everybody, new member here. Have been lurking for a while but decided to join today.

The colour on the concept is really nice and I think the car looks great in it, especially the rear.

Not sure if this has been said before, but I've noticed in the picture above it shows that the steering system has a column mounted electric motor just like in a corolla.

http://www.toyota.ca/toyota/en/vehic...ts/performance

I remember reading about this somewhere that mounting the electric motor higher up the steering column reduces steering feel because the motor filters out more of the mechanical feeling. My current car, a Golf GTI also has electric steering but it has the motor mounted on the steering rack itself. Steering accuracy and feel seem to be one of the main appeal of the FT86, so it has got me thinking will this setup diminish that aspect of the vehicle.

Thanks for reading and I hope I haven't bored anybody or said anything stupid.

I noticed there not much head room for the guy seated in the back
So maybe the taller passager has to go in the front instead.

I do like the colour. I didnt like the FT86 II when it 1st came out in the black. It just didnt like right... But this colour just transforms it completely.

Kiwi, just interested why you choosed kiwi as your user name? Are you a expat New Zealander?
