hi everyone! greetings from the philippines! just wanted to join the forums so.. let me start with a question..
im really digging the red orange/burnt copper red color of this repainted mkII.. and i know it's going to be a production color. my question is, is this the only shade of red toyota/scion will make? i mean like this is their *red* already?(coz it seems to be orange to me) or do you think there's gonna be another sexier red just like the fr-s's "code red"

They said, it's "orange", so I'm guessing, they gonna have actual "red" for this car

Not trying to be down, love the contrasting new color. Still REALLY hate this concept. The worst of the 3. MkII is an uglified MkI IMO.

Production can't come fast enough.

i'm waiting for december to see real production version for my birthday

I have to agree to an extent. The rear end of this car just doesn't look as good and the front view with those LED's... not a huge fan. The side view is what I enjoy the most

I thought this was interesting, maybe others will to. I stumbled upon this a few days ago but saw the white FT in the video as everyone else did and just disregarded this. Anyway the teaser video showed a "serial number" which I googled thinking it could be color related.

Here is a link to the color, which is a similar orangish color to this Frankfurt FT.

Maybe this just happens to be pure coincidence, idk.

The color looks good, but I really want a deep dark black with a speck of dark purple in it. The one in Geneva sort of looked like that.

Personally, I wouldn't go all gaga with the colour just yet. First of all, the display was shown near a whole bunch of coloured lights, and those most definitely affect how the colours look in real life. Secondly, the white balance of the photos don't necessarily reflect how the colour looks in real life either. Last but not least, when you look at a certain colour from your computer monitor, chances are, compared to real life, the colour is gonna be off once again.

Just saying, you know?

This was on facebook page of toyota special showroom when the ft-86 concept II i didnt see people post it so i will just shows how the 2+2 will be & how the drivetrain will be

that is an excellent pic, thanks!

fwiw you can see the production seats! notice the shoulder bolsters and the shape of the headrests. it matches exactly what we see in the spy pics...
