Omg... Today drive thru In&Out, noticed my crickets is On! 1890 miles and only Shell gas. Roll down the window with the wall bounce back can hear it clear, it is like a bird making noise under the hood.

No worries, maybe we can try for a Saturday morning meet at C&C in Milpitas again, too.

You'll learn to love those little guys. Have had crickets since ~500 mi, gas changes do nothing, they're still chirping away.

that's cool. we can chat or we can cruise somewhere. there's an old backroad I used to take years ago, that I want to check out... not sure if it's still as awesome as it was 10 years ago, or it's all residential now.

EDIT: Ugh, just saw that Peets closes at 8pm. So if you actually want to get coffee there, try and get there a few minutes earlier.

Hey guys, some other folks had asked me about doing a Sunday meet in the morning or during the day, located somewhere in the East or South Bay. Would Sunday be a better day for folks to attend so we can get a bigger meet going, too?

I'm pretty much always free on the weekends, especially now that college football (regular season) and major motorsports season is over.

Believe it or not i havent noticed my crikets in a while. I have no idea what series of conditions made the go away but they are not present. Two tanks ago and still gone. Odd...

Im down for the sunday meet, if im not that wasted the night before. as for the crickets, mine does come and go. I used Chevron before and everytime i hear the bugs in the hood. then i switched to Shell and they went away, unless i push the car beyond 6k rpm or when i heel-toe everytime then they come again. IDK why its like that...maybe it has something to do with the temp of the engine or something. Right now im using VP 93.5 race gas and im getting the same results as Shell gas.

looks like my friend is flaking on me so I might not go up to the 25hrs race after all. Hmmm... drive 6 hours on the highway round trip to watch a few hours of racing? Or meet up locally and drive with fellow 86ers... tough call. Put me down as a maybe as well.
