I'll be sleeping with my motiv overpipe tonight. It's tucked in with a blanket and everything!

Such a shame to wrap and tuck away a beautiful piece. I may just wait till Spring to put everything on so I can admire them all Winter long.

I thought about it too living in MA but hell no. I'll admire it until my catback and over-pipe come and then it's getting installed.

Okay, so I just purchased the Motive overpipe & catted front pair. Does anyone know what the (hopeful) weight savings are? Prepping the car for Nat level Solo, so trying to drop weight (sadly, no more donuts for me lol).

Thx

when it is said and done...about 20lb once the header gets here...so Header/overpipe/catted midpipe will render about a 20lb difference from stock..

Hi George..

Rules say the replacement Cat has to be with-in 6 inches of the further most cat....so Motiv's stuff is good to go..

Got ya. So pretty much any solution will work then that is out now.

That rule is nice for our cars. Wonder if we see a change there in the future or not.

This particular Rule has been in effect since the STX started...mainly because the WRX had 2 cats ...similar to the ones in the 86... other models are affected also..
