Car looks good. Really diggin the stripe and wheels compliment the color of the 86. I should have gotten hotlava when I had the chance...4 grand over sticker wasn't worth it though....but! These would look even better 2" smaller and the car dropped!

I think it means that since TC'S, XA's, and XB'S and are normally the ones that are always riced out. So Scion as a brand does not have such a good reputation in the High performance & well tasteful modded crowd.

Color scheme looks good. But...

Fake Brembos... Why?! They're obvious fakes and probably dangerous to put cheap plastic next to hot brakes. This is almost as bad as the Ferrari FRS. Almost.

Mightycarmods on YouTube did a similar setup on a Civic, with a fake BOV sound coming through speakers, fake turbo and FMIC under the hood. Hilarious.

Hmmmmm.... I love it as much as I hate it (does that make sense).

While I would never put 20's on my car, I applaud originality and individuality. OP, Don't let the haters bother you. The performance minded drivers on the forum sometime forget that there are many other people here that are not track focused.

Lose the poser Brembo covers. That's just a little too cheesy for me. Also, you may as well repaint the side markers Hot Lava. It would look better, and they're non-functional now anyway with that much tint. A half inch drop to complete the overall look wouldn't hurt.

So... Overall, I love it, but would never want it for myself.

Whatever you like man do your thing! I wonder if having big tires would be great too in a state like Montana and at this time where there's a lot of snow? I don't know too much, never experienced snow. But whatever it is you like!

I wish everyone stopped giving the OP shit about his choice of customization. He posted it because there are crowds for each style of modification. If your only contribution to this post is "Your car, your money, but I don't like it", you might as well not post anything. Let the people who like this style share their praises and admire what the OP's done with his car.

I'll go..

Aesthetically, I think it's a great looking car, with a lot of nice touches... the stripe accent orange the same as the wheel stripe... i like the stripe itself.... i think the wheels are a good style... not too aggressive looking... some of the accent touches .... on the door.... the black 86... and the blacked out and orange highlighted badges. Overall, I think a very nice job, aesthetically. I agree that the wheels are too large, maybe down to 19's or 18's, but, really, they're not ridiculously bad, aesthetically, as everyone's making out.

Now, performance and safety-wise, it'd be a different story.

It's a subaru thing... Go spend 5mins on NASIOC.

I love how quickly a thread grows when people don't like a car.

How come we don't see threads grow this quickly of people saying "I like it". Even when it is a car that everyone likes, they just never seem to get the attention of cars that people dislike.

I guess everyone thinks their opinion actually means something...

I like the black/orange color theme (can't go wrong with Flyers colors!). Black out those headlights, that would look sick.

It's not a subaru thing. It's just people that are all about performance shit on anything looks oriented. They are unable to accept that not everyone tracks her/his car.

(really sick car btw, but it got hate somehow)

There are also those who just hate on anything that's trendy or popular.

I notice that many of these people have stock cars.

It means that some people will be eternally butthurt that the car was branded a Scion. Because a plastic badge means more to them than the car itself.

While I agree that setting a negative tone for a thread in general isn't a good thing, any time someone posts their opinion, project, ideas, etc on the internet anywhere, they are opening themselves for criticism. However, there's no need for people to be a **** about it. Your example is far tamer than most people would respond, in my experience.
